Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking BI Developer with a strong background in
Tableau to ThoughtSpot migration and deep familiarity with healthcare or pharmaceutical.
In this role, you’ll lead the migration of analytics assets from Tableau to ThoughtSpot, ensuring
seamless user experience, data integrity, and optimized performance.
This is a key role within our Data & Analytics team, responsible for enabling self-service
analytics, enhancing data accessibility, and supporting data-driven decision-making across
clinical, operational, and commercial areas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end migration of dashboards and reports from Tableau to ThoughtSpot, ensuring all business logic, KPIs, and metrics are accurately replicated.
Translate healthcare/pharma-specific metrics (e.g., Patient Summary , Patient history,Appointment booking, , claims data) into user-friendly ThoughtSpot Liveboards and worksheets.
Work with cross-functional teams including data engineers, clinical data managers, and business stakeholders to align analytics with business needs.
Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare and pharma data regulations such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and ensure compliance in all deliverables.
Optimize queries and performance of ThoughtSpot dashboards using best practices for large-scale healthcare/pharma datasets.
Create and maintain documentation, conduct knowledge transfers, and train business users on the ThoughtSpot platform.
Contribute to the modernization of the BI environment and adoption of self-service analytics tools.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering roles.
Strong experience designing and developing reports and dashboards in Tableau.
Hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot, including worksheets, Liveboards, SpotIQ, and data modeling.
Proven track record of migrating Tableau content to ThoughtSpot in enterprise settings.
Strong proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale datasets (structured and semi-structured).
Domain expertise in healthcare or pharmaceutical data, such as EMR/EHR, clinical trials, commercial data, RWE, or claims.
Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in a healthcare or regulated environment.
Exposure to Looker, Power BI, or other BI platforms is an added advantage.
